There are over 6,000 books in the collection on subjects from aardvarks to Zimbabwe!

Parent Shelf Collection

Here you will find books on a variety of parenting subjects, such as how to care for your newborn, preparing your child for fifth grade, and suggestions for family outings.

Parent Packets

Parent Packets are large blue bags containing 4 to 5 items on a special topic, such as toilet learning, new baby, and divorce.

Reading Readiness Packets

Reading Readiness Packets are large red bags containing 3 to 5 concept books on counting, the alphabet and other topic of interest to preschoolers.

Daypacks

Daypacks are bright blue backpacks filled with field guides, binoculars, and other items for day hiking.

Baby Bundles

These are packages distributed free of charge to parents or caregivers of newborns. Inside the Baby Bundles you will find a board book, library card application, and information about reading aloud to your newborn. Baby Bundles are funded by the Friends of the Cora J. Belden Library.
